I'm pissed off
Did my re-enrolling the other day. Somebody moved Narrative Analysis A from Semester 1 to Semester 2 and forgot to tell me about it. I have four subjects in semester 2 now. Maybe I could change Intro to Video Practice for Screenplay and the Narrative Form. That would even things out nicely. I bet Screeplay and the narrative form is booked solid though. Current Mood: pissed off |

if anyone actually gives two hoots, ignore the previous entry for now. i haven't been myself and i just got really emotional over something that somebody had said to me. i was just trying to do something nice for no apparent reason at all . maybe things would have worked out a little easier if people would actually talk to me about things rather than talking to other people about me over certain things. the likelihood is i'm more afraid of you than you are of me. |

Nintendo Super Challenge Final
Woo-Hoo! I made the finals. They were on Suday. Sunday morning to be precise. To be even more precise, 8am in the moring on Sunday. We left the house at 7am, got to the Bourke St cinemas at about 7:35ish am. Then we were left to waiting outside till about 8:10am. However, I had been needing to take a crap since about 7:20am. The only toilets available were the staff ones in the complex next to that juice place. Luckily the janitor was cleaning up. Then it took at least an hour to get everyone through registration. So really, there was no point getting there that friggin early. So we got in, and all the seats were nearly filled up. And apparently our free bags were supposed to be on our seats. But we didn't se any. And when we complained, we got the brush off from one of the rudest staff members ever. Luckily one of the nicest staff members was around and he took our numbers. We should be getting phone calls by Wednesday. I'm not holding my breath. I'll probably end up calling them on Friday. But anyways. I ended up crapping out in the first round on 1080 Avalanche. Fucking photographer taking photographs with the flash going off in my face. Totally put me off. If I was in a bad mood, I would have put my hand through his face. Plus, there would have been no way I would have even come close in the next round. Ijust suck so much at F-Zero GX |

My feet hurt
Filmed today for Writing. Internet. Performance. Spent about 2 hours all up maybe filming, setting up and packing up. Very tiring. Yet fun. But still very tiring. I can't believe it took two hours to film eight minutes of footage. But I don't feel so bad since the other groups took about the same time. |

I forgot all about this. Was going to post it a while ago. I thought they pretty much had about half of it wrong. But there are a lot of years in the decade known as "the 90's". Plus it was a while ago, I can't remember what happened. But here it is. The MTV Top 10 rock songs of the 90's. 10. "Just a Girl" - No Doubt 9. "Wonderwall" - Oasis 8. "What's my age again?" - Blink 182 7. "Jeremy" - Pearl Jam 6. "Creep" - Radiohead 5. "Buddy Holly" - Weezer 4. "Freak on a Leash" - Korn 3. "Nookie" - Limp Bizkit 2. "November Rain" - Guns 'n' Roses 1. "Smells like Teen Spirit" Nirvana In what is sure to spark many arguments and eventually begin World War III, whether or not MTV got the Top 2 places around the right way. MTV is wrong. |

Nintendo Super Challegne: Finals
Well guess what. I got a letter today telling me I had made the finals of the Nintendo Super Challegne. OH MY FUCKING GOD!! I guess they changed the top 50 of each cinema to the top 300. So I am in. I have to be at the Bourke Street cinemas at 8:00 am. Fuck me that's early. And I can bring a friend if I want. Does anyone want to go? Have room at my place to stay the night if you want to drive me in on Sunday 24th. (I hate driving, so i don't really want to drive into the city). |

Yu-Gi-Oh! Movie cards.
I have all my Yu-Gi-Oh! cards from seeing the movie. Bought them off eBay. I din't want to pay for postage. And since the people I was buying them off live in Werribee, I asked if I could go and get them. And they said okay. So I drove from Avondale Heights on Suday to Werribee. Had my brother with me to navigate. Got lost. Highway...Freeway...whatever. No diff. Which is why we got lost. We ended up on the wrong side of Farm Road or whatever. So lucky I pulled over several times, otherwise would have driven to Geelong. But we made it back on the freeway and saw the sign that said Duncans Rd on the overpass. SO we just took the next exit and their we were. Took a little longer than I had thought. (Like and hour up there and 1/2 hour back.) But I have all four cards now. Yipee!!! |

Nintendo Super Challenge: Event 6 - Mario Kart: Double Dash II
Had the final event. I got a 2nd. Yay!! About fucking time. Was just pipped at the post by some loud mouth little girl who, if you actually heard her, you would actually want to knock her the fuck out. I feel sorry for the competitor that week she guest MC'd. Talk about putting people off. Nintendo (and to a lesser extent, Village Cinemas), have no fucking clue how to run a competition. Especially since Nintendo rules did nothing but preach "FAIRNESS". What really pissed me off was that they have been having a second round after the first round. SO if you do really crap, you can redeem yourself. If you get a higher place, they record that position. How fucked up is that. And they didn't even tell me. After my go was over the first week, my friends and I got out of their. They must have said something after the first round. After I had left. Potentially, 75% of participants could have gotten 1st or 2nd place. And here I am sittin' on 3rds and 4ths, unaware of a second chance. I don't remember Ian Thrope getting a do over when he fucked his Olympic Qualifier? Did Shane Kelly get a do over when he stuffed up in the Sydney Olympics? Did Collingwood get a second chance in the 2002 and 2003 Grand Finals? No. They didn't. And secondly, how could they consider they preselected characters fair. They so weren't. Thirdly, why doesn't Nintendo tell Village what the rules and the set matches are. Each fucking week my brother had to tell them to fix whatever it is Village hae fucked up on. For Mario Kart, it is the laps of the race. It's 2 laps you morons. Not 3. And as for the selecting of the 300 competitors. First choosing the top 50 from the 6 cinemas, then changing your minds to top 300 overall, then, not knowing how the fuck you are going to choose them. Fuck. Not to mention not putting up the leder board for 3 fucking events in a row. Fuck you Nintendo. I want my money back, regardless if I make the finals or not. |
| 7:35 pm |
Saturday night I stayed at a friends place because I had the Nintendo Super Challenge the next day. For dinner I order pizza. Thought I'd call up Pizza Haven. So I called and gave my order, then details (address, etc). And they were having trouble finding the address in their computer. So the lady on the other end went to go sak someone. So I get the feeling it may have been pretty early in her Pizza Haven career. When she came back, she told me that "Pizza Haven does not deliver to Avondale Heights". My response, "Do you know if Pizza Hut delivers to Avondale Heights?" Guess what. THEY DO!!!! My response was pretty funny amongst the people in the room who were waiting to see how long it would be till the pizza arrives. It was actually considered to be quiet bold. I guess you had to be there to hear how I actually responded. Must have been something in the tone. |

Another poem by a friend, posting anon hollow and lifeless i live in a shell pointless is my life sharp is my blade pleasure is the cuts so deep
drip, drip, drip from my arms to the water below tainted yellow is the urinated water
drip, drip, drip from my arms to the water below tainted red is the bloodied water
red, red, streams of sorrow and hurt my heart aches for my life to end
purge this blackness from my heart... and while you're at it purge all emotions from my soul |
